We carry exclusive and
unique designs so you can be assured you’re not going
to see your work of art on 100 other women. Classic clothing
made in Atlantic Canada is one of our strengths and we constantly
search out new suppliers and artists. At a Meet the Designer
event, you’ll be the first to view new lines and talk
with designers – they love to meet clients to hear how
their work suits you.

Grace Butland of
Silver Birch Fibres is a fibre artist,
image consultant and writer who resides in Parker’s Cove,
Nova Scotia.
She is a juried member of the Nova Scotia Designer Crafts Council,
and we at The Clothes Basket are delighted
that we are able to carry her work.
Grace’s designs are created using the finest fabrics and
utmost care. Each season she creates innovative clothing in
limited edition lines along with one of a kind pieces.
Grace‘s “What to Wear to Flatter Your Figure”

Sonya Jones of
Ultimate Comfort Lingerie lives
in Berwick, NS, and is well known in the area for her comfortable
and innovative high quality lingerie which she marketed at
craft fairs for many years. Her padded shoulder camisoles
and other special “undies” are sought after items.
From silk pyjamas and robes to fine cotton batiste nightgowns,
Sonya’s work is exquisite.
She is now adding to her collection of wonderful nightwear
and lingerie, by creating comfortable and easy to wear, limited
edition separates for The Clothes Basket.
An added bonus is that if what’s in store doesn’t
fit you, we may be able to accommodate your special figure
needs with pattern adjustments.
